A compassionate, kind & curious horsewoman: is that you?
My ideal clients/students are amazing horsewomen who share a profound passion for horses. They have an own horse or they take care for someone else's horse with the same love and dedication as if it were their own. They are sensitive, gentle-hearted, and kind, finding immense joy and happiness being in the presence of horses.
A deep bond with horses
These horsewomen dream of creating the most natural bond with their horses. They want true freedom for both themselves and their horses. Their perfect moments are spent feeling the wind in their hair while walking with their horses freely through the field, breathing in fresh air, hearing the birds sing, and smelling that nice, comforting horse scent. This is their version of happiness.
Compassionate and Kind Training
They firmly believe in conscious and mindful training, rejecting coercion or punishment. They intuitively know these methods do not build meaningful relationships with horses. They want to learn how to train their horse with compassion and kindness, and they dare to be different in their approach.
These horsewomen want to move away from pressure and force. Open-minded and always willing to try new, less conventional methods, their hearts hurt when they see horses suffer from harsh training. They speak out against pain-inducing tools, viewing them as symbols of slavery. To them, horses are partners, not slaves.
The good of the horse
Riding is not essential for them to have a good time with their horse. They like the "10-minute horse ride" concept of Horsefulness Training and are ready to set aside their own wishes for the good of their horse. Some of them have even chosen to stop riding altogether because their horse clearly shows that it prefers not to be ridden.
When their horse would get sick or old, they would never sell it—the bond with their horse is for life!
They feel responsible for the happiness and health of their horse, giving their horse the best possible life with equine friends, free movement, fresh air, healthy food, and everything else needed to thrive and live its best life.
Continuous Self-Improvement
These horsewomen are always trying to improve themselves. They understand that improving their relationship and the training of their horse starts with improving themselves. They know that self-growth and connecting with themselves are key to working well with a horse. They see their horse as a teacher, helping them to become more aware and grow.
They want to be the best horsewoman they can be for their horse.
spiritual yet grounded
They embrace a simple and practical spirituality, understanding that horse-human communication goes beyond words; it involves energy, intention and intuition.
They are willing to explore practices like breath work and body awareness exercises to enhance the connection with their horse. They are willing to go on a journey of self-discovery to learn how to communicate with their horses in the best possible way, fostering a deeper understanding of their needs and emotions.
They want to learn how to be fully present with their horse, building awareness and allowing them to feel in harmony with their horses. They know that it is possible to experience a spiritual depth in their relationship with their horse.
