Become a professional Horsefulness Training Coach
I was 13 and rode a horse for the very first time. I was immediately hooked and from that moment on I could only think of horses, horses, and more horses. Very soon I knew that I wanted to devote my whole life to them, there was no doubt about that. Only, my environment would not go along with it...
My parents, grandparents, teachers at school and all the other people who insisted on having their say said the same thing: "No, don’t do that! You will earn zero. You will have to shovel shit and slog in the mud every day. Few make it beyond the level of stable girl."
I could only think: "You are all wrong."
And: "I will do whatever I want."
Following ‘good advice’ was not in my nature as a born rebel, so when I was 18 I immediately searched for a job with horses. And now, almost 30 years later, I’m still working professionally with horses. I haven't regretted it for a moment.
Indeed, I have shoveled a fair amount of shit (with pleasure, by the way!). They were not wrong about that, but what I have done most of all is training horses and coaching horse owners.
Chase your dreams
With this personal story, I want to show you that whatever your dream is: chase it!
I intuitively knew, as a teenager, I could only find happiness if I responded to my soul mission, which was: helping horses.
You can’t imagine how many people I met during my life told me: "I wish I could also turn my passion into my profession, just like you did."
Or, "I wish I could quit my job and start working with horses. But…"
Well, if I'd had a 'but' back then, I would not be where I am today: I founded Horsefulness Training, developed several online programs, and I’ve helped an uncountable number of horses & horse owners.
I dared to take the jump into the unknown when I was 18, and it was the best decision I ever made.
Do you want to take that jump too?
